I can't review the food because this restaurant is now only serving ramen. The menu is outdated and GrubHub is defunct. When I called to ask if they received my order, they kindly explained they're a different restaurant now.

We really enjoyed the ramen meal. We ordered a Shoyu Ramen meal and a spicy one. I loved their California Rolls too. They were included in the meal. The servers were very friendly. The food came very promptly.

My brother and I came across this place on our way to pick up some coffee. I looked at photos on yelp and thought that there would be a mini-marketplace that sold grab-n-go items but it was just a regular restaurant. I ordered the popcorn chicken and chicken roll bento. Popcorn chicken- Flavor was there! It was fried very crisply and is the ultimate grab and go snack for all your needs! Chicken roll bento - This thing was PACKED! It had veggies, tofu, a few other sides and a heaping amount of rice. A packed bento is almost ALWAYS my go-to easy comfort meal. The chicken itself had a crispy skin layer wrapped on top and it was super tender. It had both a sweet and savory combo taste to it probably due to the sauce that they had used. All in all, it was a very filling meal and I would come back to try the noodles next time!

Today, I went out for dinner with a group of friends. We know this place was a Japanese supermarket, and now is a Taiwanese cuisine restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we noticed the wallpaper of Ximending (西門町)on the wall, indicating it's a Taiwanese restaurant. We were immensely impressed with the food during our first visit. All of us, being Taiwanese, absolutely loved it. The stinky tofu (臭豆腐)had a strong fermented flavor and tasted delightful, especially when paired with the house-made pickled vegetables. The popcorn chicken (鹽酥雞)was tender, quite large, and paired with basil, making it a Taiwanese classic dish. Additionally, we ordered Taiwanese stir-fried noodles (台式炒麵)and pork intestine and pig blood stew(五更腸旺). These are dishes we often eat back in Taiwan. The stir-fried noodles tasted just right, with the perfect noodle texture, accompanied by strips of meat and cabbage which added to a great flavor. The stew with pork intestines and pig's blood paired with pickled cabbage reminded me of the taste I had experienced back in Taipei. We also ordered cabbage with bacon (高麗菜炒培根)where is a great combination of this two dishes, as well as veggie eggs (菜脯蛋) which gave us a great taste and last order was Hakka stir-fry (客家小炒)where the pairing of dried tofu, celery, pork strips, and squid was spot-on and felt light and refreshing to the palate. We highly recommend everyone to come and give it a try.
